5th Oct 2011 - I usually stay in chain hotels, but decided to stay at this guest house after reading the reviews here. I wasn't disappointed. The room we stayed in was clean and well decorated, as was the lounge. We decided to walk to Babbacombe Downs and were even given printed directions to follow. We were made to feel very welcome - a real home from home! I got the impression that nothing was too much trouble. I've stayed at many places which could do with a lesson in customer service from these proprietors! Excellent breakfast as well. The only downside - we only stayed for one night. We would definitely stay here again. (Trip Advisor review)

We were greeted by Jackie and David ,the owners a lovely couple who made us a much welcomed pot of tea , the room was bright pleasant and spotless ,The breakfast was ,,well they don't get any better ,my wife and I would totally recommend booking , you will not be dissapointed with the value you get for your money .Thanks to Jackie and David our stay was perfect." These guests gave us a score of 6 out of 6 on all counts - Customer Service, Cleanliness, Room Quality, Value for Money and Food quality.
